Comprehensive Block Preparation

Starting with your provided core block or a new OEM block (available for purchase), every block undergoes the following detailed process to ensure optimal performance and reliability:

• Hot tank cleaning to remove contaminants and prepare the block surface
• Sand blasting to eliminate corrosion and debris, revealing a uniform satin aluminum finish for improved aesthetics and longevity
• Installation of high-strength Darton MID ductile iron sleeves that offer superior durability, capable of withstanding over 1000hp
• Precision boring and honing with a torque plate on state-of-the-art CNC and Sunnen SV-10 honing machines using diamond tooling for exceptional cylinder finish
• Step decking the block surface to produce a sleeve height taller than the deck, enhancing clamping force around the sleeves for improved head gasket sealing under high boost conditions
• Line boring to factory specifications, ensuring proper alignment with the integrated girdle design of the block

Customization Options

• Core Selection: You may either send in your existing block or purchase a new OEM core block directly. Work commences only after receipt of the core.
• Bore Sizes: Multiple bore options range from 86.0mm to 90.0mm to meet your specific build requirements. For turbocharged setups, we recommend limiting the bore size to 89mm to ensure reliability.
