The Mazworx 2JZ-GE+T Long Block Stage 1.5 transforms your naturally aspirated 2JZ-GE engine into a robust, turbo-ready platform designed to handle up to 1,000 horsepower. This comprehensive build converts the engine to GTE specifications with meticulous upgrades and precision machining, ensuring reliable performance and durability for high-power applications.

Stage 2C Short Block Conversion

The short block undergoes a full disassembly, cleaning, and preparation process including hot tanking, sandblasting, painting, and multiple machining operations. Key upgrades include the installation of piston oil squirters and turbo oil feed passages to support turbocharging demands. The oil pan is modified with a -10AN fitting to accommodate a proper turbo oil drain connection.

Stage 1.5 Cylinder Head Upgrades

The cylinder head is precision reworked and upgraded to provide improved airflow and durability, including seat and bowl blending, valve guide reaming and replacement, and a comprehensive valve job with race specification components.

• Supertech standard intake valves and Inconel exhaust valves
• Supertech bronze valve guides and beehive valve springs (91 lbs seat pressure)
• OEM shimless buckets, Supertech valve locks, and valve seals
• Kelford T202-C cams (264/272 duration) for optimized valve timing

Long Block Assembly & Included Components

The complete long block assembly includes powder-coated valve covers and a detailed start-up check including oil pressure testing. The package features premium parts such as Kelford adjustable cam gears, ATI super damper, Gates racing timing belt, ARP head studs, and OEM water and oil pumps. Mazworx-specific hardware and bracket kits ensure a seamless installation.

• Apexi metal head gasket (88mm x 1.5mm thickness)
• Titanium ARP crank bolt and RSP billet tensioner bracket
• Lucas Oil SAE 30 break-in oil (five quarts) and Wix oil filter
