Mazworx 2JZ Long Block Stage 3.5 Dart Street

The Mazworx 2JZ Long Block Stage 3.5 Dart Street is a comprehensive engine build package delivering high performance and reliability. Designed with all new components, this package requires no cores and supports a versatile displacement range of 3.0, 3.2, or 3.4 liters. It is engineered for up to 1800 horsepower capability suitable for street use and available with Supra, Aristo, or Moroso style sumps.

Short Block Features

The short block assembly is meticulously crafted to exacting standards, including processes such as:

• Deck height checking and inline block resurfacing
• Hot tank cleaning and iron block painting
• Rod notching for cylinder clearance
• Fire ring groove machining
• Cylinder resizing using a torque plate and line bore resizing
• Crankshaft balancing and short block assembly

Key parts include the Dart iron block fitted with 1/2″ head studs, custom heavy-duty CP pistons with 86mm bore selectable compression ratios, heavy-duty rods from Carrillo, BC MOAR, or R&R Aluminum, and a billet stroker crankshaft offered in 90mm, 94mm, or 96mm strokes. High-quality ACL race bearings are used with optional Calico coatings for endurance applications.

Stage 3 Cylinder Head Details

The cylinder head is enhanced with Stage 3 CNC porting and combustion chamber refinements for improved airflow and combustion efficiency. Labor includes:

• Removal, drilling, tapping, and replacement of oil port plugs
• Plugging of EGR and intake side water ports
• Valve guide reinstallation and reaming along with a race valve job and valve lash setting
• Rear water pipe machining to -10an ORB and machining for 1/2″ head studs
• Head resurfacing and assembly

Components comprise a new OEM cylinder head with optional VVTi functionality, Ferrea intake and exhaust valves oversized by +1mm, Ferrea bronze valve guides, high boost dual valve spring kit rated at 125 lbs, Kelford DLC coated shimless buckets, Ferrea valve locks and seals, and Kelford cams (T202-F 282/286 profile).

Long Block Assembly

The long block is fully assembled with attention to detail, including spinning and priming. Included parts feature an Apexi grommet type head gasket machined for 1/2″ head studs, Kelford adjustable cam gears with bolts, ATI super damper with ARP damper bolt, Gates racing timing belt, Point One H11 1/2″ head studs, RSP billet tensioner bracket, and a complete Mazworx 2JZ engine bolt and shipping bracket kit.

Additional OEM components and seals come standard including a new water pump, PHR oil pump, billet flex valve covers, new OEM valve covers and pans, a 36-2 crank trigger/sprocket, and Lucas break-in oil to ensure optimal initial operation.
