The Mazworx SR20DET RWD Long Block Stage 2 represents a comprehensive, high-performance upgrade beyond the Stage 1.5 build for Nissan SR20DET engines. Designed to support power outputs up to 600 horsepower, this long block is meticulously rebuilt with a combination of refurbished and premium upgraded components to ensure reliability and enhanced performance.
Stage 2 Short Block
The short block undergoes an extensive labor process, including complete disassembly, thorough cleaning, and precision machining to optimize durability and fitment:
- Complete disassembly and hot tank cleaning of block components
- Sand blasting the block for surface prep
- Removal, retapping, and replacement of oil port plugs
- Machining for installation of threaded freeze plugs
- Installation of Darton sleeves and precise cylinder resizing with torque plate honing
- Step decking and line bore resizing to exact specifications
- Oil groove machining tailored for the SR20
- Crankshaft cleaning, inspection, polishing, and balancing
- Final assembly of the short block
