Mazworx RB26DETT Stage 2.5 Short Block

The Mazworx RB26DETT Stage 2.5 Short Block is a high-performance engine build designed to provide a strong and reliable foundation for demanding Nissan RB applications. Rated up to approximately 800 horsepower, each short block is cleaned, inspected, precision machined, balanced and assembled in-house by Mazworx using premium forged components and proven machining processes.

• Upgraded 9310 Wrist Pins with a 0.250″ wall thickness and 22mm diameter for increased durability in high-output applications.
• BC ProH625+ Connecting Rods with 22mm wrist pins, engineered for demanding high-horsepower engine builds.
• ACL Race Rod and Main Bearings selected for durability and performance under increased engine loads.
• ARP Main Studs for improved main cap clamping force and engine integrity.
• Mazworx Threaded O-ring Oil Plugs for improved sealing and reliability.
• Mazworx Threaded O-ring Freeze Plugs for secure coolant sealing.
• Optional Mazworx Crank Collar available for short nose crankshaft configurations.

Comprehensive In-House Labor and Build Quality

• Hot tank cleaning to thoroughly clean and prepare the block and components.
• Sand blasting and painting of the block for corrosion resistance and a clean finished appearance.
• Installation of threaded and O-ring sealed oil and freeze plugs.
• Precision cylinder resizing for proper piston-to-wall clearances.
• Torque plate honing to maintain accurate cylinder geometry under simulated cylinder head clamping loads.
• Deck resurfacing for proper cylinder head gasket sealing.
• Precision line bore honing to ensure correct crankshaft alignment and bearing clearances.
• Cleaning, inspection, polishing and balancing of the crankshaft.
• Optional crank collar installation when using a short nose crankshaft.
• Complete short block assembly performed in-house to Mazworx specifications.
