Comprehensive Rebuild Process
- Hot Tank Cleaning: Thoroughly cleans the head to remove oil and grime.
- Sand Blasting: Removes corrosion and debris on older heads, restoring a uniform satin aluminum finish for a refreshed appearance.
- Removal and Replacement of Oil Port and Freeze Plugs: Allows for complete cleaning of oil galleries; includes replacement of freeze plugs to ensure integrity.
- Shimless Valve Installation: Eliminates the use of shims in the valvetrain to prevent potential issues at high RPM or during rev limiting.
- Port and Polish: The Stage 2NA intake port reshapes the bowl area, smooths the runners, and matches seats to the larger valves. Intake ports are CNC machined, while exhaust ports are hand blended for optimal flow.
- CNC Combustion Chamber Machining: Opens the combustion chamber to bore size without removing squish areas, balancing performance and reliability.
- Valve Guide Renewal: Old guides are removed, replaced, and reamed with high-quality Supertech bronze guides.
- Optional Multi-Angle Valve Job: Available for chambers 90mm and larger, this process includes multiple angled cuts plus a radius to enhance airflow.
- Surface Resurfacing: Utilizes a poly-crystalline diamond (PCD) tool for a precise, durable finish.

Core Handling: You may send in your own head for rebuild, or select from available cores. For VVL heads, a complete motor purchase is necessary to obtain the head; please inform us of any additional parts needed.
Spring and Retainer Options: Supertech Dual Valve Springs and Titanium Retainers are standard; choose the set that best fits your application.
Camshaft Recommendations: Kelford 184-T cams are recommended for high RPM turbo applications. For race-only builds, removal of the VVL lobe reduces valvetrain mass and improves oiling at elevated RPMs.
Additional Machining Services: Available for Hall Effect Sensor installation and upgrading to 1/2″ head studs, recommended for builds exceeding 600 hp, including dowel pin re-machining.
